We Did Not Go: Answering the Five Most Common Objections

The Opening Premise

Many have taken up the mantle to expose those who claim that the Apollo manned Moon mission landings were faked. These individuals are known as “Debunkers.” They believe that NASA did indeed send astronauts to the Moon and have successfully brought them back safely, and unharmed. These individuals often try to debunk, not only Moon landing denialists, but flat Earthers also. They officially believe the narrative by NASA, and openly defend it.  Individuals like; Phil Plait – editor of the website “Bad Astronomy,” Jim Oberg – journalist on space issues, Paolo Attivissimo – editor on the Moon Hoax and collaborator with the “Apollo Lunar Surface Journal” website – NASA’s official website pertaining to the Apollo missions, Jay Windley – editor of the website “Moon Base Clavius,” and the world famous “Myth Busters,” which actually devoted an entire episode to debunking the so-called “Moon hoax theory,” all have gathered together under one banner, so to speak, to expose the so-called “conspiratorial theories” of the Moon landing denialists.

There are several reasons why many individuals still openly believe that the Apollo Moon landings were real. However, and notwithstanding, there are also several reasons to openly believe that it was a well rehearsed faked elaborate hoax. Even right wing conservative, and political activist, Candace Owens has tweeted on her Twitter account that the Moon landings were faked, as seen in the snap shot of her Twitter page below. However, when dealing with individuals that believe the mainstream narrative presented by NASA, it has been my experience that they will often cite the following five most repeated common objections to those who deny the Apollo Moon landings. However, these objections can all be easily answered.

Obviously she is not a flat Earther yet due to the fact that she hasn’t delved into the topic deeper, but she seems open to the topic with an unbiased mind. And that’s good thing. However, she obviously has her doubts about the Moon landings.

The Five Common Objections

1. It would of been impossible to fake the Moon landings because there was 400,000 people working on it. Moreover, it is impossible to keep 400,000 people from eventually spilling the beans. They would all have to be in on it; and that would of been impossible.

2. The former Soviet Union is said to have tracked the mission on radar. If they saw nothing, they certainly would of exposed the United States for perpetrating an elaborate hoax.

3. The astronauts left retro-reflectors on the Moon. Because of this, we can bounce laser beam signals to the Moon via the reflectors placed there, and in return receive a signal back. Moreover, we have hundreds of photos showing the modules, and various pieces of equipment, left there via the LRO.

4. We have hundreds of Moon rocks.

5. And of course, the last common objection is the “Why would they lie” scenario.

The Answers

1. The very premise to this first objection and argument is flawed. No one said at any time that 400,000 NASA employees had to be informed of the scam being perpetrated. In fact, the lunar Landing project had been split among a thousand different companies that worked all over the United States. They were totally independent from one another.

The employees at Grumman were building the Lunar module from their factories in Long Island. The technicians from ILC were designing the astronauts spacesuits from their laboratories in Delaware. The employees from Boeing were building the lunar rover in the state of Washington. The people from McDonald Douglas worked on the Saturn rocket in their factories in California. The technicians from General Motors were producing the tanks for the command module at their home in Indiana. The experts from Link Group developed the flight simulators from their factories in New York. Altogether there were about 20,000 different companies, from different locations, working on the Apollo project from all over the United States.

When a soccer player chooses to sell out a game he doesn’t inform his team of his intensions – he acts alone; and the first ones to be duped are in fact his own team mates. Another example is the Volkswagen scandal of 2015. In 2015, it was revealed that the German automakers had deceived the entire world by selling them cars whose engines had exceeded the established emission regulations. But this doesn’t mean that the entire body of 600,000 employees at Volkswagen had been informed of the scam being perpetrated. All that was needed was a restricted group of mangers and technicians in the know, without everyone else necessarily being informed of what was going on.

Also, in the case of the Apollo missions, all that was needed was a small group of NASA’s top managers who decided to fake the Moon landings, while everyone else at the agency would have believed that the missions were real. For the hoax to succeed, for example, it would have been sufficient to take control of the television signal that was received by the stations on Earth. Officially, the images of the first Moon walk was transmitted directly from the Moon and was broadcasted in real time by television stations all over the world. But if the same Moon walk was pre-recorded in a studio here on Earth, and was then rebroadcasted to all receiving stations, via ground based antennas, then the first people to be duped would of been the very technicians at NASA who were following the Moon landings from Houston Space Center; and with them, the entire world would have been deceived, including Walter Cronkite.

Thus, the idea that all of these people had to be in on the plan to fake the Moon landings is simply ludicrous.

2. There are in fact different reasons as to why the Russians would not have exposed the hoax. The first one, given their position, no one in the world would have believed them. Just imagine if the Russians, who had just lost the so-called “race to the Moon” had tried to suggest that NASA faked the Moon landings, the Americans would have ridiculed them in front of the entire world, calling them “sore losers.” With more than half a billion people having witnessed the Moon landings on television, it would have been very easy to dismiss any Russian accusation with a laugh. No one one would of taken them seriously.

There is also another reason. With the Apollo missions still in progress, serious talks was in the making between the United States and the Soviet Union for a joint space program. The times between Kennedy and Khrushchev were pasted; and the Nixon administration had made some serious progress toward a substantial day-taunt with the Soviet empire. On May 24, 1972, with the Apollo missions still in full swing, President Nixon signed an historic agreement with the Soviets in reference to space cooperation. And in less than a year after the last Apollo mission, many of the same american astronauts were traveling to Russia to meet their Soviet colleagues. They took part in press joint conferences, visited their space centers, got familiar with their spaceship Soyuz and paid homage to various Soviet space program heros who had passed away.

A few months later it was the Soviet cosmonauts turn to visit the United States and get acquainted with the American way of life. They visited the Houston Space Center and became familiarized with the American spaceship Apollo, and worked together with their counterparts to perfect a system that will allow their spaceships to connect to each other during future joint missions. All of this will collimate only three years after the last Apollo mission in the historic encounter between the American spaceship Apollo and the Soviet spaceship Soyuz. In fact, the joint missions between the United States and the Soviet Union would pave the way in what is today called the International Space Station – a place where astronauts from the U.S., Russia, Italy, Japan, and many other countries work elbow to elbow within the international space program. Faced with a possible bluff by the Americans, all that would of been left for the Russians to do was to bite the bullet, and look to the future with a smile on their face.

3. The topic of retro-reflectors was actually covered in an episode from “Myth Busters.” In that episode they had demonstrated how a laser beam directed toward the Moon did indeed reflect a beam back to Earth. To them, this was clear proof that man did land on the Moon and left these reflector apparatuses for future endeavors. However, its in fact perfectly possible to bounce a laser beam off the Moon and detect it on Earth without the aide of any particular instrumentation. This kind of experiment was already conducted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1962; seven years before the so-called first Moon walk. Moreover, even the prestigious National Geographic Magazine had written an article citing such in 1966. And a similar experiment was replicated by the Soviets one year later in 1963. The Soviets had also supposedly sent two unmanned probes into space carrying retro-reflectors; the Lunokhod One and Lunokhod Two, during the time between 1962 and 1966. In no case then can the retro-reflector be considered a valid proof in favor of the Apollo missions, let alone a definitive one. https://www.nytimes.com/1963/11/05/archives/soviet-bounces-light-beam-off-moon-in-a-laser-test.html

The following is a picture of a reflector…

But if you are still not convinced, let us go into this topic a little bit deeper. There are two type of means in which an individual can bounce a beam off the Moon; and that is done either by EME (Earth-Moon-Earth) or LLR (Lunar Laser Ranging). Both techniques have wave distributions. The only difference between the two is that the LLR is less noticeable. Both techniques are dependent upon radio propagation waves. Radio propagation is the behavior of radio waves as they travel, or are propagated from one point to another in the so-called vacuum of space or into various parts of the atmosphere, as a form of electromagnetic radiation. Like light waves, radio waves are affected by the phenomena of reflection, refraction, diffraction, absorption, polarization, and scattering.

We can reflect light and radio waves directly from the Moon’s surface through the process of EME. However, it is said that a much more precise range measurement can be made using retroreflectors (LLR) since because of their small size, the temporal spread in the reflected signal is much smaller. However, the results between the two techniques are pratically the same. Moreover, one can achieve a result simply by aiming a beam of light and obtaining its laser ranging measurements by retroreflectors installed on Moon orbiting satellites such as the LRO.

Question: If I were to shine one of those small pen size light lasers, would the beam reach the moon?

Yes it would. But it would be so weak that you would not be able to see a reflection back. NASA uses something a bit larger.

In the 2008 photograph above, the laser tracking system for NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter was being tested before the mission’s launch. Laser ranging from Earth made it possible to track the satellite’s position with an accuracy of about four inches (10 centimeters). (The coloration of this image has been enhanced to highlight the details of the laser.)

And as mentioned above, the first successful tests were carried out in 1962 when a team from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology succeeded in observing laser pulses reflected from moon’s surface using a laser with a millisecond pulse length. Similar measurements were obtained later the same year by a Soviet team at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory using a Q-switched ruby laser.

Question: For how long do I have to aim a laser at the moon to see a dot?
The moon is around 384,000 km away. The speed of light is 299,792,458 m/s. The journey is round trip, so:

However, if the question really is about seeing the dot – you won’t. Ever.

Beams of light diverge. Take a flashlight (torch) for example. Why is it that if you are 20 meters from a wall the light will illuminate it, but if you are 40 meters from that wall, the light won’t illuminate it?

What’s happening here? Is something stopping the light from traveling that distance? No, the light is traveling unimpeded, 40 meters is nothing for a photon. But the beam of light gets larger and larger with distance. So, the extremely dense cross section of photons at the lens of the flashlight is very bright, but as the beam gets wider, those photons are distributed over greater area. The light density gets less and the beam gets dimmer

That’s 1.7 in 100,000,000,000,000,000 photons. With their system, that means the returning signal consists of 5-10 photons. A giant 3.5 meter telescope can only detect 5-10 photons. Your eye isn’t going to have such luck.

Question: Are laser beams and light beams the same?

Yes. “A laser generates a beam of very intense light. The major difference between laser light and light generated by white light sources (such as a light bulb) is that laser light is monochromatic, directional and coherent. Monochromatic means that all of the light produced by the laser is of a single wavelength.”

https://ehs.princeton.edu/book/export/html/348

Question: Are laser beams and radio light beams the same?

Yes, by the process of transformation. You can create an electromagnetic beam that is spatially but not temporally coherent by placing a pinhole close to the source, and then another pinhole in the far field of the first pinhole. This beam will not spread out very much. And like mentioned above, the laser light will spread out still.

So, in conclusion to the question of laser beams, one cannot make the difinitive claim that men landed on the Moon and left reflector mirrors for future Earth to Moon lunar measurements.

4. Bill Wood, an aerospace engineer has said during an interview that the vast majority of hundreds Moon rocks that we claim to have are made here on Earth. They can be radiated or exposed to a vacuum, and modified in certain minor ways so that they appear slightly different. In fact, in 2009 it was discovered that a Lunar rock donated by the American astronauts to a Dutch museum was actually a piece of petrified wood. And even if these rocks were real, they could have been taken from the Lunar surface by unmanned probes and not by any human being. This was supposedly done by the Soviets with their Luno 16, 20, and 24.

According to Physics.Org “The rock was given as a private gift to former prime minister Willem Drees Jr in 1969 by the U.S. ambassador to The Netherlands, J. William Middendorf II, during a visit by the Apollo 11 astronauts, Armstrong, Collins and Aldrin, soon after the first Moon landing. Drees had been out of office for 11 years, but was considered an elder statesman.”

It is said “that NASA gave lunar rocks to over 100 countries in the 1970s, but when the rock was displayed in 2006 a space expert told the museum he doubted any material would have been given away so soon after the manned lunar landing.” “Researchers from the Free University of Amsterdam immediately doubted the rock was from the Moon, and began extensive testing. The tests concluded the rock was petrified wood.”

5. This particular topic in reference to the “Why would they lie” scenario has been already answered in the following link article:

You see, in short, on October 4, 1957, the Soviet Union successfully launched Sputnik I. The world’s first artificial satellite was about the size of a beach ball. After that, on April 12, 1961, aboard the spacecraft Vostok 1, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin become the first human being to travel into space. However, even though the narrative reads “Into space” it was actually only in LEO at 187 mile above, for 108 minutes.

This sent shivers down the spine of the Americans. The United States, under the Kennedy administration, wanted to do the same. However, the United States wanted to go a step further. On May 25, 1961, President John F. Kennedy announced before a special joint session of Congress the dramatic and ambitious goal of sending an American safely to the Moon before the end of the of the decade.

However, between 61 and 67, it was becoming very clear that the goal of sending a man into space, landing him on the Moon, and bringing him back home safely was just becoming simply impossible. You can easily research the events between 61 and 67 for yourself. By 1967, it was simply too late to back out. Christopher Kraft – the former Johnson Space Center director said quote; “After the fire (of 67) I don’t think that we would of continued had we not made the commitment. The country made the commitment; and they would have looked like a bunch of gooks had they not continued on in the eyes of the world and in their competitive position in the “Cold War.” Unquote. Source: NASAFLIX.

Even before 67, Kennedy, along with James E. Webb – director of the Apollo program from February 1961 to October 1968 – who would inexplicably retire, along with deputy director Robert Seaman, just nine months before the alleged Moon landings, saw the impossibilities of going to the Moon before the “decade deadline” due to all the technology setbacks, accidents, and overhauled budget, becoming a reality. On September 20, 1963, Kennedy asked for a joint U.S. – Soviet mission Moon trip. Khrushchev’s response was not long and coming. A month later, the Kremlin had announced that they were not interested, and had no intensions of sending cosmonauts to the Moon. At that moment, Kennedy realized that the dime was casted. The U.S. would have to go at it alone. So much for the Moon space race feed to us by the government of that time, and mainstream media propaganda. See pictures below.

The only way they could have met the decade deadline was to fake it. And they did this with the technologies that were available at that time. The only difference from that of the 1960’s is that today, background images are superimposed upon green and blue screens with a digital technique. While in the past, background images were projected onto a highly reflective screen, with a technique called front projection. You can actually see the line divisions between the foreground and background. Some much for the argument that the land mass areas on the Moon are too big to be faked. Stanley Kubrick had utilized this method. See pictures below. Yes, they faked it. They had to fake it in order to save face; and due to the fact that billions of dollars were already spent on commercial advertisements, instrumentations, binding contracts, and simulation studios. It was simply too late to back out now.

The visuals were not live, they were pre-recordings of various simulations already in place before 1969. But you may ask, “What about the communication feeds?” To answer that question, see link here The Pale Blue Dot? Chapter Four: The Apollo Missions; Did We Really Go? Objection Numbers 1, 2 and 3

The divisions between the foreground and background can easily be seen.

After reading and seeing the photos above, many would actually claim that “We are going back there again.” But it is the very premise of this statement that is flawed. How can we go back to some place, in this case the Moon, when it is obvious that we did not go there in the first place? No one has gone through the Van Allen Radiation Belts (VARB). Many will also further cite: The Artemis Program – a Moon program that promises to send astronauts to the Moon by 2025. But this too is ludicrous because, as I have explained in chapter four, we cannot go through, or bypass, the VARB’s.

But do not fear. This time around NASA will razzle and dazzle the world with a better show of CGI wizardry, digital wonders of bewilderment, and fanciful audio and visual special effects TV show streams via all mainstream news media outlets and social community apps. All of this at your tax dollar expense.

As I have mentioned before, they will never admit to the fakery of it all. There is simply too much money involved, and at risk here. In their fiscal year 2022 spending legislation, congressional appropriators have hewed closely to the Biden administration’s request for NASA, proposing to increase the agency’s annual top-line from $23.3 billion to about $25 billion. If I were on the “team” I wouldn’t want to lose my share of the buck either. But then again, I wouldn’t want to work for a manipulative and deceitful agency like NASA to begin with. My conscience and convictions are not easily swayed by the so-called mighty dollar. They will never admit to their roots, just like mainstream science would never admit to its occult-ish background as revealed here…The Pale Blue Dot: Chapter Twenty; The Great Cosmic Reset; Astronomy: Its Past and Present History of Mysticism, Hermeticism, the Kabbalah and Esotericism

In simple conclusion, I leave you with a highly recommend movie on how it all can be faked, indeed.
