The First Installment: The First Day; The Beginning

1. Before the beginning there was the nothing before the something. Yet you heard.

2. Hearing before, but not seeing. No perception, no depth; only sound, light and motion.

3. Association was born into the something. Making out faces and shapes;

4. Taking twelve months the eye was fashioned to focus on objects in the space of occupation by twelve inches.

5. Twelve for twelve they say, becoming twenty four elders.

6. Three to four becoming distinguished. Distinction was born. You became fashioned on descriptive colors and caste systems and objects around you. Differentiation was born.

7. “We see, we see,” you cry. Yet forgetting that before the something there was the nothing.

8. Spotting familiar faces, and so many other faces you begin to see differences. You also look upon yourself; you smile and laugh.

9. Do you hear the laughter of those that celebrate the life of this age? Yes, you hear the laughter of the counsels.

10. Creation laughs with you. Creation weeps with you. Creation will not believe in your true essence.

11. Blessed are you when creation laughs with you and not against you.

12. Blessed are those that weep now, for they shall laugh.

13. Blessed are they who see not, yet believe.

14. Who has believed our report, said the Strawmen? Who can make enduring fire out of clay? Who is the Strawman?

15. The clay became mired in water.

16. Pieces of clay becoming bricks. Bricks fashioned by the counsels image; down to the very marrow of your bones.

17. The image is vain. The image is void.

18. The image is a Phantom. Phantoms have gathered round about you creating in you a Strawman.

19. Given a name you are. Given a number you are. A Strawmen, now given to other Strawmen.

20. They comfront you. They laugh with you. They weep with you. They raise you. They are your paternal Phantasms.

21. They nurture you. They love you. They discipline you according to old proverbs set down before your nothing became the something.

22. You are a Strawman; a fleeting image set for a duration of time.

23. Yet the Strawman says as it grows, “I am a thing, I am a being, I am conscience; I think, therefore I exist!”

24. Prove your existence if you can, Oh Strawman! For you are nothing more than an image; a Phantom, a piece of clay, a mote of dust.

25. For as it is written; “for dust you are, and onto dust you will return.”

26. Yet you cry; “Do not so, for I exist!” The Word repeats, “Prove your true existence!”

27. You cry; “is this the voice of my Strawman or is this the voice of something Higher proclaiming things which cannot be heard or understood?

28. The wind blows back and forth, yet you know not from where it comes from. Such is the nature of temporary things.

29. Yet you continue to ask. You continue to knock and seek. Yet you still do not understand. Oh Strawman, all is but for a season!

30. You look into a mirror and say; “Look, do you not see, I exist!” “I do exist!”

31. Mirrors are vain. They are reflection’s of your Phantom. The Phantom looks upon its Phantom and is bewildered.

32. Since infancy and early childhood, you looked upon yourself and saw you.

33. Others see you. Others see themselves. All of them; Phantoms are they. You are seen through a light. It is not the light of your true essence, but a light from the darkness.
